Appointment Terms

These Appointment Terms form part of the Agreement between Nutrable and the Expert with respect to Appointments, and should be read in conjunction with the Consultancy Service Terms and Conditions, available here.

These Appointment Terms set out the key commercial terms that govern the Agreement between the Expert and Nutrable. Nutrable reserves the right to change these Appointment Terms at any time in its discretion. If Nutrable does this, Nutrable will post the changes on this page and will indicate at the top of this page the date these Appointment Terms were last revised. Nutrable will also notify the Expert, either through the Nutrable Platform user interface, in an email notification or through other reasonable means. The Expert’s continued provision of the Consultancy Services after the date any such changes become effective constitutes the Expert’s acceptance of the new Appointment Terms.  

If the Expert does not agree to these Appointment Terms, the Expert will not be permitted to provide Consultancy Services via the Nutrable Platform.

To the extent of any inconsistency between the provisions of the Consultancy Service Terms and Conditions and these Appointment Terms, the provisions of these Appointment Terms shall prevail.

1.     Expert Obligations

a.     The Expert shall ensure it is available to provide Consultancy Services via the Nutrable Platform for a minimum of 3 (three) hours per week.

b.     The Expert shall use the online tools available via the Nutrable Platform to record and store all notes, records and recommendations taken during or after an Appointment or otherwise in connection with the Consultancy Services. Any notes or records should only be stored on the Nutrable platform and would be available to the End User via the platform upon End Users’ request.  The Expert will not keep written or digital records on any media other than the Nutrable platform.

2.     Fees

a.     Nutrable will charge the End User a fee for the consultation of £150 depending on the duration of the consultation. These fees are published on the site.  These consultation fees are collected by Nutrable from the End User. Nutrable charges a £45 booking fee for each consultation regardless of the duration of the consultation. This booking fee covers all administration costs to run and manage the platform. The Expert receives the consultation fee net of the booking fee.

b.     The Expert acknowledges and agrees that Nutrable may change the Fees at any time, provided that any change to the Fees will only apply to Appointments booked after the change comes into effect.

3.     Appointments

a.     Nutrable will notify the Expert of any Appointments booked by End Users via email. The Expert further agrees to regularly check its consultation schedule on the Nutrable Platform to confirm new and rescheduled Appointments by End Users.

b.     The Expert agrees to log into its account on the Nutrable Platform five minutes prior to any confirmed Appointments to ensure the video and audio functionality are working properly.

c.     It is the Expert’s responsibility to ensure its equipment (computer, laptop, tablet or other mobile device) and broadband speed meets the necessary technical specifications to enable the Expert to access and use the Nutrable Platform, including the video platform functionality, during any Appointment.

4.     Cancellation of Appointments

a.     If the Expert needs to cancel or reschedule any Appointment, the Expert shall notify the End User via the Nutrable platform as soon as practicable, and at least twenty four (24) hours prior to the Appointment time.

b.     If an End User cancels an Appointment less than twenty-four (24) hours before the Appointment time, the End User will be ineligible for a refund and Nutrable will remit to the Expert its fees due after deduction of the booking fee.

c.      If the Expert fails to attend any confirmed Appointment, or cancels any confirmed Appointment within twenty four (24) hours of the Appointment time, for any reason, the Expert shall be liable for any costs incurred by Nutrable in connection with such missed or cancelled appointment, and agrees that Nutrable may deduct any such costs from any Fees or any amounts owed by Nutrable to the Expert under the Agreement or otherwise.

d.     If an End Users cancels an Appointment in circumstances where Nutrable is required to issue a refund to the End User, or the End User has not yet paid for the relevant Appointment, Nutrable will notify the Expert of such cancellation and will not be required to remit any Fees to the Expert in respect of the cancelled Appointment.
