This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how and when Nutrable Limited (“Nutrable”, “we”, “us” and/or “our”) collects, uses and shares your personal data when you use the website www.nutrable.com and/or communicate with Nutrable through another contact channel (collectively, the “Services”).

Nutrable Limited with its address at 77 Cavendish Street, London W1W 6XB, United Kingdom will be the controller of your personal data. We collect your personal data through your interaction with our Services. When you use our Services, you acknowledge that we will handle your personal data as described in this Privacy Policy, therefore we recommend that you read it carefully.

1.The personal data we collect from you
When you interact with our Services we will collect personal data when you submit it to us in the following ways:

  • Your personal profile: if you choose to set up an account with us, we will ask you to provide some personal details, such as your first name, last name, the country where you are located as well as your gender and date of birthdate. To set up your account with us, we will ask for you to provide a username and password. 

  • Health interest: you will be asked to select a health interest(s) which will help us to provide you with articles, health talks, podcasts and information more closely related to your interests.

  • Coaching: when you send us an enquiry via our Ask The Coach feature, we will collect the question asked and the response from our nutritional therapist.

  • Rate The Plate: when you send a Rate The Plate request, we will collect the photo image of your plate for evaluation in addition to the response from our nutritional therapist coach.

  • Supplements: if you decide to search for supplements through our website you can save your search results. If you wish to purchase any supplements which feature on our website, we will direct you to the third party’s webpage where you can purchase the supplements directly. Please note that you do not purchase supplements from our website.

  • Consultations: if you wish to arrange a consultation with a nutritional therapist, you can select the therapist you wish to arrange a consultation with, book a time and date, and make payment (via Stripe, our third party payment processor – please note that we do not have any access to your payment information processed by Stripe). Once the therapist has been notified of your booking, you will have the option of completing a “Consultation Questionnaire Form” which will ask you for details concerning previous and/or existing health conditions as well as any relevant medical symptoms, food diary, allergies, family health history, lifestyle and nutrition.  The Consultation Questionnaire Form is optional.

  • Nutritional therapist: if you are a nutritional therapist engaged with our service we hold certain personal data about you for users of our website to connect with you and arrange a consultation. This personal data will include, full name, job title, qualifications, areas of expertise and photo image.

  • Health Check: when you request a Health Check, we will collect the blood test that you requested.  Blood test results will emailed directly to your email address and not be shared with Nutrable.

  • Contact page: when you send us an enquiry via our contact page, we will collect your full name, email address and the details of your enquiry.

  • Automated technologies: the servers hosting the website automatically record certain information about you when you use the website, including details of your IP address, operating device, search terms, search filters clicked on, purchase links clicked, nutritional therapists viewed and/or saved. Nutrable will only use this information to understand the manner in which pages of the website have been visited in order to monitor and improve the website. 2.How we use your personal data
Under applicable data protection laws, we are required to specify the legal basis under which we are allowed to process your personal data. We may process your personal data to perform our services to you, for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or proceedings and to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, for our legitimate interests or where we have your consent. We may use your personal data as follows:

  • To process any request or enquiry you make in connection with the content and products we feature or our Services generally; 

  • To allow you to search for content and products on our website, as well as to allow you to save your searches;  

  • To personalise our Services to you and provide you with a personalised experience on our website;

  • To connect you with your coach and facilitate any communication with your coach;

  • To connect you and arrange a consultation with a nutritional therapist;

  • To connect you and arrange a health check;

  • To protect the security of IT and communication systems, online platforms, website and other systems, preventing and detecting security threats, fraud or other criminal or malicious activities; 

  • To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations and requests, including reporting to and/or being audited or investigated by national and international regulatory bodies; 

  • To comply with court orders and to exercise and/or defend our legal rights;

  • To manage consultation booking and customer support;

  • To understand how you visit our website, how you interact with us and to enrich your user experience, and to tailor your searches to your needs; and 

  • To send you communications about our services which may be of interest to you, as described in the “Marketing” section below.  

If Nutrable intends on using any personal data in any manner that is not consistent with this Privacy Policy, you will be informed of such anticipated use prior to or at the time at which the personal data is collected.

We may conduct data analysis and research to gather market insights about trends in the industry as well as information on the popularity of certain content, products and services. Please note, however, that any data used for these purposes will be aggregated.  No personal data will be exposed and you will not be able to be identified from it.

3.Marketing

We may use your Identity, Contact, Technical, Usage and Profile Data to form a view on what we think you may want or need, or what may be of interest to you. This is how we decide which products, services and offers may be relevant for you (we call this marketing).   • Limited third party service providers: Select third parties who provide services to us may have very limited access to certain personal data specifically, name, gender, country and health interests.  This information is used for providers of authentication, website analytics, hosting and cloud computing services. No personal information from the Consultation Questionnaire Form, Ask the Expert feature, Rate The Plate feature or any recommendations from the consultation is shared with any third party.

  • Payment processor: if you wish to arrange a consultation with a nutritional therapist, you will need to make payment. To process your payment we use Stripe, a third party payment processor. Your payment will be processed by Stripe who processes your personal data, including payment information, in accordance with its privacy policy.   • Administrative and legal reasons. We may disclose personal data as we deem necessary and appropriate under applicable laws, such as to comply with a subpoena, bankruptcy proceedings, or similar legal process; in response to lawful requests by public, governmental and regulatory authorities.

  • Business transfers. We may disclose and transfer your information and data to a third party: (a) if we assign our rights regarding any of the information to a third party or (b) in connection with a corporate merger, consolidation, restructuring, sale of certain of our ownership interests, assets, or both, or other corporate change, including without limitation, during the course of any due diligence process.

9. Data retention and deletion

We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected and processed, in accordance with our retention policies, applicable laws, and regulatory obligations. Account and profile information is generally retained while your account remains active. If your account becomes inactive, we may delete or anonymise your personal data after 24 months of inactivity unless retention is required for legal, regulatory, safeguarding, fraud prevention, or tax purposes.  Health-related information submitted through coaching, consultations, questionnaires, or Rate The Plate features may be retained for longer periods where necessary to provide services, maintain records, or comply with applicable legal obligations.

You may request deletion of your Nutrable account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us at support@nutrable.com. Following a verified deletion request, your account access will be removed and your personal profile information will be deleted or anonymised. Associated personal data will generally be deleted within 30 days unless we are required to retain certain information for legal, regulatory, fraud prevention, safeguarding, or tax purposes. Certain limited information may be retained where required by applicable law or regulatory obligations.

10.Data transfers

The data that we, or our third party service providers, collect from you may be stored in the United Kingdom and/or European Economic Area (“EEA”) as well as being transferred to a destination outside the EEA, such as to the United States. This location may not provide the same protections as the data protection laws in the United Kingdom and/or EEA. Where the country we transfer your personal data to outside the EEA is not already recognised by the European Commission as providing adequate protection, we will implement appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission approved standard contractual clauses) to govern such transfers, pursuant to applicable data protection laws.
